Interview with Kenneth Poff, Army veteran (1913th Engineer Battalion), concerning his experiences in the Southwest Pacific Theater during World War II. Advanced training, Camp Stoneman, 1943; stationing in New Guinea; invasion of Cape Gloucester, New Britain, and attachment to the 1st Marine Division, 1943; landings at Hollandia, 1944; invasion of Lingayen Gulf, Philippines, 1944; kamikazes; advance toward Clark Field; reconstruction of Clark Field.
